- This range of platinum sensors is ideal for high temperature applications and is rated at 1600°C. They are available in type R or S thermocouple calibration, with Class 1 accuracy. The assembly features a non-porous recrystallised alumina protection sheath with a diameter of 24mm. This has a higher operating temperature than an aluminous sheath and greater resistance to thermal, chemical, and physical shock. The stainless steel support tube is 30mm in diameter and 150mm long as standard. Available in three standard lengths of 300mm, 500mm, or 1000mm below an IP67 weatherproof terminal head housing a ceramic terminal block.Many options are available such as; alternative lengths, diameters, ceramic materials, as well as duplex elements.
