- This range of platinum sensors is ideal for high temperature applications and are rated to 1450°C. They are available in type R or S thermocouple calibration, with Class 1 accuracy.The assembly features a non-porous recrystallised alumina protection sheath with a diameter of 15mm. This has a higher operating temperature than an aluminous sheath and greater resistance to thermal, chemical and physical shock. The stainless steel support tube is 21mm in diameter and 150mm long as standard.Available in three standard lengths of 300mm, 500mm or 1000mm below an IP65 weatherproof terminal head housing a ceramic terminal block.Many options are available such as; alternative lengths, diameters, ceramic materials, as well as duplex elements.
